Carly Gould


Director Pharmacovigilance

Carly is a Director of Pharmacovigilance and is involved in all aspects of pharmacovigilance for a wide variety of companies. She has a BSc in Human Physiology and has worked in pharmacovigilance for a total of 16 years at Diamond PV, Amdipharm Plc (Head of Medical Services and Deputy QPPV) and Generics (UK) Ltd (Acting PV Manager). Prior to beginning her career in pharmacovigilance, Carly worked at the Bone & Joint Research Unit, St Bartholomew’s and The Royal London School of Medicine & Dentistry, London. The aim of the research was the development of molecular therapies for the treatment of autoimmune diseases. Carly has extensive experience in the full range of pharmacovigilance activities from individual case management to RMP writing and review and PSMF authoring. Her key skills include: establishing and managing PV departments, setting-up PV QMS systems and database validation. Carly is currently QPPV for several companies and has hosted seven regulatory authority inspections.
